You know you play too much DayZ when....


You name your first born son "Cherno" and your daughter "Polana".

You go back and play BF3 and get social anxiety from having too many teammates.

When you need to park your car, and you look for 2 pine trees close together.

You walk or drive passed the hill by your city and instinctively think about asshole bandit snipers.

while playing other games you constantly try pressing alt to look over your shoulder (i do this all the damn time)

... You won't leave the house without a can of beans.
...You're afraid to crawl through doors in fear of breaking your legs.
... You somehow mange to fit several car tires in a small backpack.
... You make your own ghillie suit.
... You are arrested for killing and gutting your neighbors cattle.
... You wear a bandit skin IRL.
... You manage to pitch a tent inside a tree.

You drive through town and realise you are looking at buildings to see wether they have an open door.
You see smoke from a fire in the distance and your first thoughts are "Crash site !".

Any time you are outside and need to jump over something you do a frontflip

You t-bag a dead body IRL.

When someone startles you IRL and you yell "friendly!"

You press your TS press to talk button everytime someone talks to you IRL while on a pc

I do this a lot

definately the worst habit in pc gaming right there, start talking to my mum about picking up dog shit, realise i've been keyed up the whole time

...you've just spent six hours lootcycling the barracks, got four Mk48's Mod 0, popped a tire on your car with all these guns, spent another two hours lootcycling for that and when you found the wheel, died to zombies.
( Truly asked myself wth I was doing right there)
...you see a giant metal ball on a stick and look around for military tents
...you watch DayZ videos while playing DayZ
...you own half the server's vehicles
...you start typing while hovering above a town in a helicopter you just spent six hours to fix

WHEN YOU CAN FLY BACKWARDS IN A PLANE. YES OMEN I'M TALKING TO YOU.

if you get in a car crash IRL and explain to the driver you had desync

You hide behind trees a lot and crouch walk when in the open..

Someone posts his bullet calibers and you instantly know which ammo type it is..

You hear a chopper through your headset and start shouting CHOPPER CHOPPER untill 5 seconds later Tom sais : it is flying over my house.

Untill you hear a second chopper 5 minutes later and start shouting CHOPPER CHOPPER untill 5 seconds later Shortboy sias : it is flying over my house^^

when you hear the faint drone of a hair dryer in the background, and you think its the low drone of a bi-plane flying around

I thought it was in game too until I looked out my window.

You press G in another game to check your inventory and throw a grenade instead.

When you are outside IRL random places, and you see either a red golf lacking a wheel, a bicycle without wheels etc. and you snapchat a photo of it to a friend...

When you are in a shop, and you find the exactly same can of Baked Beans wich is in the game, and you buy it, and eat it for dinner...

When you are outside irl driving, you spot a helicopter, and you start following it in its direction to see if its gonna crash...
