I've finished my initial setup of our dedicated server, before I start bringing in the new enhancements and mods. I will be moving our server over to this, characters, tents and vehicles included sometime within the next week (if it doesn't catch fire whilst testing)

I've given it a stupid name and crazy starting loadout hopefully to attract random people to it for the next day or so feel free to check it out yourselves.

The more people who are playing the better an idea I can get on the current performance of it. It would be good to get feedback from you guys on how it feels compared to the current environment. Don't expect your character on there to last once the move has taken place though as we'll be using the dayz.st database when I flick the switch and shut the old one down.

Now we have a dedicated host I have lots more control expect lots of cool new features over the coming weeks.

Feels a lot smoother than the current server. I jumped back into the current server after playing this one just to make sure I wasnt trippin' and yeah, huge difference to me.

Was bored on my lunch break so have set up a wasteland server also

There are now 20+ choppers, ospreys and planes on the new server performance has been consistently much better than the dayz.st one I want to make the switch permanently this weekend. Until then login and have some fun with one of the choppers or planes.

I have plans to run Taviana and Namalsk instances soon too, your character will hopefully be shared across these from chernarus.

Just a test server for now I need to setup the shared database with the other server once we have it on this box so don't get too attached to your character on there. But then who gets attached to their Namalsk character?
