Hey guys I just joined the website. I have a clan that I'm trying to set up and it told me that on the clan tag section that im not to use brackets. well, upon registration, i used brackets in my in game name. I chose this as my in game name: [TA] HeviMetalTitan. i did that in anticipation for creating a squad, not realizing that the game does that already. In the clan setup it said arma 2 will automatically put in the brackets. But if we already have the brackets in our in game name, wont that look retarded? i mean, it would probably look like this: [TA][TA] HeviMetalTitan, or [[TA]] HeviMetalTitan, right? so is there a way to change your in game name and get re whitelisted? |

I think once you are whitelisted you can always change your name. |

how would i go about doing that? Like i said, this website is new to me so at the moment maneuvering it is like trying to understand Chinese. |

Arma 2 main menu - Profiles i think, should be able to rename in there or just create another profile, doesn't do anything except change key bindings and settings to default |

Yeah, it whitelists the guid not the name |

alright i figured it out. thanks to you guys and seaweed. and judging from some of the ban appeals, trolling on side chat is not a good idea haha |
