Hey,

One of the tents inside my base just dissapeared :( It was still there with some top secrets things inside when I closed my base up.

Two tents that were outside also dissapeared but people could have driven those over.

Anything else has a problem with tents dissapearing?

Greets,
Eberteby

I removed 120+ empty tents this morning and a few old ones with nothing decent in, didn't remove anything that had anything of worth in though.

I wouldn't have ever got it done if I had to wait for everyone else to move their empty tents :P

I've left 2 tents in your inventory for when you next login.

Yeah, that's true :p

I think a lot of people just have an empty tent outside their base where they can put their stuff in if they want to break down a container so mayby it would be nice if you could announce it so people can put a gun orsomething like that in it :)

i can set up a script that will delete empty tents that have not been accessed in a few weeks. let that run every now and again to keep things clean. just say the word.

Tried that initially, but it didn't cover enough of the tents for my liking, don't think the update time in the db is too reliable. I'd rather remove them all and give a couple of tents out to the few people who have lost one. I will stick a cron job in for future though so we can keep on top of it a bit more.

The more items we have in the deployables table the more it impacts the server performance, especially start up times after a restart etc. With the extra strain from basebuilding and the fact I haven't removed a tent in the 6 months or so the server had been up we were are well overdue a total cleanup.

I see, was just thinking that someone might have driven next to my containers and somehow managed to drive my tent over that is inside my base and that it bugged somehow :p

Thought there were some toolboxes inside but just nevermind^^

Thanks for the tents in my inventory :)

when did you do the clean up? because after last nights restart, i was able to log in pretty fast. it was only me and 2 other people on the server but it was still pretty fast.

So, I just went to my base and I'm also missing tents that had lots of supplies in it. Were they also removed for some reason?

Only empty tents were removed, could be that someone else had run them over or blown them up leaving them empty before I ran the query.

I went through the database afterwards and also removed a few of the more pointless tents, but these all contained nothing but junk gear and no more than 4 items.

PM me the details of where they were and what you lost and I'll take a look at some database backups tonight.
