I'd like to see side chat removed from this server, as it only serves for people to big themselves up after a murder, or for idiots to shout about "fucking my mum."
If people want to discuss these pointless topics the TS server is freely available, I don't need it clogging up half of my screen while I'm trying to play.

I think it might have been us guys that started things off when we had some fun at Cap Golova and we kinda ended upsetting some dude and he kicked off and went awol for a good 20 mins in sidechat. We got fed up with him and just left because he was spamming so much. Things must have just got worse from there.

That isn't the normal state of chat. You will normally see either serious questions, clan vs clan smacktalk before and after a fight and only the occasional idiot. It rarely gets out of hand.

If I had my way there would be no sidechat, no death messages, no crosshairs and no third person

Of course I would then be running around by myself in a totally empty server.

I keep an eye on the sidechat whenever I can and I have no problem with handing out temp bans for excessive douchebaggery just contact me in Teamspeak
