Hello guys,

so iv been playing on this server for 2 weeks now and i want to share the bugs/glitches i came across.

- zombies and players glitching away, my ping (~20ms) and fps (>40) are fine though
- dropped weapons disappear when i take them out of my backpack and drop them on the floor to pick up a bigger backpack (squadmate saw the weapon lying on the floor but i didnt)
- items which were put into the tent sometimes disappear few seconds later (tent has the capacitiy)
- time on the server seems buggy

so maybe you can look into it, would be great.

thank you for hosting this server, i really enjoy playing on this server :)

have a great day and happy hunting!

The first two are general DayZ bugs I'm afraid, nothing I can do about those

Tents in general do have some problems at the moment on our hive. I am currently in the process of looking into these as well as the problems we have been having with the full moon disappearing on our test server. I've heard reports of tents disappearing after being placed recently from some players.

I applied a small fix for the full moon issue this morning but I don't think it's worked so further testing is going to be needed. I also need to take the server down for an hour or so an update some bits, its hard finding time to do this at the moment though I don't want to put off the new signups!

If you do have the problem of the full moon suddenly disappearing whilst playing at night, re-logging to the server will sort it for a limited amount of time, fingers crossed it'll be fixed very soon though.

(just noticed seaweed already replied)

i havent encountered any of these but here are some things to try.

1. What do you mean by glitching away? seaweed will have to look into that. (no solution from me)

2. walk up to the pack on the ground, and open the pack. Put your items into the pack, then pick it up. Not only will that solve your issue but it will speed up the time it takes to move all your inventory over. Now you wont have to drop stuff on the ground, drop your bag, pick up the new one, pick up your gear. All you do is open the new pack, dump your items, pick up new pack.

3. Items on your tool belt count as weapons. So since tents can hold 10 weapons+tools, you can place 2 maps, 1 compass and 7 guns. You may already know this, but a lot of people dont. Also, I know tents have been a little buggy since the last update and seaweed is working on this fix now.

4. Time on the server is set to -3 or -5 GMT i believe. The moon glitches out every now and then but that will be fixed soon.

Well, when you attract zombies they are sometimes not running towards you but away from you and then kinda randomly appear almost in front of you
I think it has something to do with pathfinding, i dont know if you guess tweaked that on the server.

Also, zombies are walking through walls/closed doors and glitching up ladders which is a general dayz problem i believe.

all those glitches are normal day z glitches mate including the pathfinding ones, cept the tent one, which seaweed has already said he's looking at

Kill messages are part of the Reality hive package, unfortunately they have never worked 100% of the time on any server that has them enabled, I'd say about a third at best. They are mostly enabled to deter hackers, makes their dick shrink if they teleport to someone and kill them and it announces their name.

Not sure what you mean by bugged squads I see [SNM!] next to my name whenever I play/type something....

Wasn't working last night, no squad info in the in-game player menu or tags in chat.

Seems for some reason bohemia have blocked the zerosurvival domain, we are looking into a solution before we move the squad files to another domain....

We're assuming they didn't like the query string urls for squad files. We're gonna change the script and move to a new domain so they will be down for a little bit.
