Been playing for about a month of so and getting tired of hackers. Saw this server posted on reddit and thought I might take a look. Seems like you have a nice thing going on here.
I tend to play alone keeping my distance from people (since im a little shy) and being friendly when I can but i'm quite interested in trying to group up with some people to get a little bit more action and see what the other sides of this game can be like.

Tried saying "Hi" in side-chat but I didn't get a response from you. Figured you either didn't speak English or were hostile. Then you died and left shortly thereafter. Welcome. If you're friendly, I'd be more than happy to help you out if you need it sometime.

AdjustedJunk - I tried to respond and say that I had just fallen down half a flight of stairs and broke my legs and was bleeding out. Though I got no reply so I assumed you were either afk or an asshole. After seeing your humanity score I see you are definitely not an asshole! I probably sent it in the wrong channel or something.

I have had a beard since I was 13 so very being the very clever bunch that my peers were, I have been known as beard since then. I recently decided to spice it up and had a little play on words with bread and butter - ingenious I know!

Ah, I see. I kinda figured that might have been the case when I saw your first post in the forums. If you don't already know, you have to change Chat Channels by hitting either "<" or ">" on your keyboard.

The channels are as follows:

Direct Chat(white text) - Only users within 50m(I think) can hear your voice or see the text typed in that channel.

Group Chat(white text) - Only users in the lobby can see this chat I believe. So pretty useless for the most part.

Vehicle Chat(yellow text) - Only users within the same vehicle can hear voice or see text in that channel.

Side Chat(blue text) - All users currently in-game in the server can hear voice and see text. That said, it's common courtesy to keep voice comms off of side chat. Some servers even go as far as banning for this "Offense", but we just kindly ask that you stick to typing.

You may also consider downloading TeamSpeak 3 if you don't already have it. There is teamspeak server available for people playing within the server: "ts.zerosurvival.com". If you have a squad/clan, you can even message one of the TS server admins and they can create a channel for you, and even set a password to that particular channel so only you and your squad/clan/friends can join it. If you prefer to play solo, there's also "Lone Wolf" channels available so no one bothers you. You just need to message an admin for the password to one. Or you could just join one of the other public channels available.
