Anyone else having problems removing objects with codes? I had this working fine the other day and now today I can't remove objects that I've placed. I didn't die before a server restart or anything...

It's bugged from after the server restarts, I put a fix in place for a while but it caused another bug with item duplication. Changes are on the way though....

If you are the owner of an object you will always have an remove object option, though you do have to wait till after a server restart if you die :(

Yeah, as long as you haven't died, you don't need a code to remove an object. You get the same "remove" option as any other item, but when it's yours, there's no animation and no risk of losing your toolbox. Speaking of which, are you sure you had a tool-box to begin with? Happened to me before :/

Still working on it on the test server currently, I have the 4 digit codes and code editting with object removals working perfectly but it's broken a lot of other functionality in the process (like all tents and object removal).

The guy who wrote the changes didn't write them for dayzmod so there's some more things to sort out, hopefully I can get it working fully soon though. I am not the only guy trying to fix it so I'm sure one of us will reach a full solution soon :)

Btw if your object was a single container they can be really glitchy to get the remove option up by all accounts, I've heard scoping in and moving around to find a "sweet spot" helps. Personally I just use the double ones much less trouble.

Thanks for the info.

We gave up on the single containers, much longer to build the double ones but have had no problems bringing up the menu with them.

I've had no problems bringing up a menu on single containers, scope in on one of the corners and scroll, that has worked every time for me.
