 Can't tell you much easier this makes flying planes or choppers I sometimes forget not everyone swaps these controls out so for those of you who haven't tried it give it a go. We will probably have an event tomorrow night if some of you want to practice in planes. |

Doesn't not having keys bound to banking and nose up/down make flying choppers hard? I usually fly in third person in free look mode so this setup would confuse me. There wouldn't happen to be a way to set keybindings by vehicle would there? I'd like to try something like this with just planes but keep my old bindings for choppers. |

I originally started using this control setup back when there was just Hueys in dayz and it makes the helicopters way easier too. Although after this long with playing on the defaults I understand the switch might be harder for some. I believe dslyecxi also uses this control setup (albeit with throttle pedals) |

OK,talking about vehicles- I cant seem to find any on my journey.Been practically everywhere (Cherno,Elektro,Devils castle,Green Mountain) - well,not including small vilages like Kamenka.I just cant find any.Could you guys help me and tell me where exactly should I search for them? Btw,this server is really good,this is my only issue so far  Thanks for replies.

We run close to the normal "vanilla" levels of dayzmod, (around 85 vehicles, default is around 60). On our server we spawn just one helicopter which is currently the MH6 little bird (6 seat variant) and up to 2 planes. There are plenty of vehicles around though not always at spawn points, we also have many custom spawn points. Hopefully you have better luck soon

Agreed, I'm definitely firing up the editor right now and doing trying some of that myself.

ive actually got a joystick (hasn't been touched in ten years either ) ive been thinking about trying it out with the biplane and chopper

I swear I have seen a Huey passing over Stary yesterday around 2100 GMT.Just saying,it might have been a haxor. |

the huey was a crash site chopper, they are AI controlled and crash at random locations across the map |

Ah,I see.That explains the explosion I have heard few minutes after I spotted it.Thanks! I am still a noobie,never knew they actually fly around before they crash,just thought the wrecks pop out at random places. |

We also have one for care packages  If it's not a little bird or biplane it's AI.
