Should also add that I tried giving Wojo 3 AB+ Bloodbags, it said tranfusion successful at these 3 attempts but it didn't actually work and in all 3 cases the Bloodbags and Tranfusion kits disappeared.

confirmed, also on wojos

also it seems like noone gets the option to bloodbag me. 3 different people have tried at several different occasions and yes we did have the transfusion kits.

it seems for every successfull bloodbag we(ICD) have, there are at least 5 failed attempts where we have either gotten 1k, or no blood at all.

We have that problem too. For now eating before you administer a bloodbag works, also the good old relog.

Eating or relogging didn't help us at all. Never managed to bloodbag Benuar.
And we are loosing many bloodbags which simply doesn't work, even if we eat before (or eat before another attempt) or relog.

The option " give transfusion" is missing sometimes too.

We had that problem yesterday right before server restart so maybe it´s related to that? (And I was laggy as hell too) Do you guys remember how far you have been to the restart?

we have had this on multiple different occasions - with different times to the restart i think

i dont have a lot of lag issues anymore.

When you drink with your hands from a well, the thirst-meter in the bottom left corner tends to get stuck.

I'm updating the beta patch on the server to hopefully fix some 1.8.1 issues, please follow the following to make sure you are on the same patch 124802 - http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/t ... try1997119

If you launch the game using dayzcommander make sure you have both these options ticked before you update your game in steam - http://puu.sh/9c2AJ/2cbec5d2d6.png

Everyone should be running 124802 from next restart onwards in future you won't get in game if you are on < 124802

I forgot something last restart so server side its still 112555, shouldn't be a problem if you've updated already but you could potentially see some new bugs.

Server will be updating to 124802 properly soon, best to update your clients now anyway.

Regarding one bug a lot of you keep reporting at the moment

"I eat/drink something but my icons and hunger/thirst don't update"

Some of the old food/drink types which are defined in a different PBO are missing their nutirition values. So there are some things you can eat/drink which won't add nutritional stuff currently. I believe beans and some of the other really old items are among them.

This is not a bug I can fix I'm afraid as the classes cannot be redefined from a mission file, so we need to wait for 1.8.2 for that one.

Hopefully most of the other major issues should be tidied up now without any new bugs. I've got some new files I'm working on containing almost all the server mods (besides basebuilding) which I'll be starting my testing on soon.

Does this include a changed loottable or is that a future project? Keep finding DMRs but am yet to find an M40 or SVD

Loot table isn't in the update I'm preparing at the moment but it is the first thing on my list after I get this one done and working correctly.

This update should add everything extra we had on 1.8, except for loot table, animated crash sites, street lights, enterable churches and base building.

Once I have the current update deployed and working bug free I'll be adding the last things in that order ^

Yeah I've got a feeling they changed the static date this patch too, because if I look at the moon at night its no longer a totally full one, or at least it wasn't the last time I looked. Should be able to fix that in future if that is the case.

We noticed that too, though I quite liked the eerie atmosphere it gave yesterday night. The fog, the downpour and the darkness mixed pretty well. When the moon finally came through the clouds it was all fine and bright again. The only annoying thing was the bloody cold. My character froze his butt off, temperature kept dropping even whilst running around at full speed. And thanks to antibiotics being a royal pain to find the only cure to the obligatory infection was death. Again.

After playing for a few days now, here are the changes that I feel is needed.

1: Bring bases back.
2: new bloodbag system is just stupied, you just need to carry to much stuff these days. I think the old system was fine, II think it created more action in battles. If you didn't die from the first bullets, at least you could come back into the battle somewhat fast.
3: This is most important: Food and Drink. Holy shit, I am more glad to see a cow these days then a DMR. If you are on foot, most of the time you cant get on hold of enough to keep you alive. This system needs to be fixed, maybe not like it was before but at least the rate of how you become hungry. Last night I ate 2 pigs, 1 goat and it was first when I had a piece of rabbit that my hunger went to half level again. If this game is supposed to be realistic, not even Americans can eat that much in one afternoon. Drink is somewhat ok because of boiled water and wells, but without those it would be hell.

I love the new addons that have been done to the map btw Seaweed, yours or in the patch?

Post subject:  Re: DayZ 1.8.1 Feedback

backpack glitch where everything inside will freeze, and dissapear on login/restart still happens.
... my poor DMR :'(

- stuff can be saved by putting it into a tent/stash/car

There are some issues at the moment with the nourishment values of certain kinds of food. It seems that some items lack a value at all so you could stuff your face without getting any kind of saturation. Like eating candyfloss.

Having a problem where when I log in the game sometimes logs me out again within about 30 seconds. Its happened 3 times in a row before but stops happening after I've been logged in for a couple of minutes.

Anyone else having this issue?

Everyone will see this at one point or another, make sure you dont press enter to load into the lobby too fast when joining the server. The only other time you should see it is right after a server restart if you join too fast.
