tom, sirus, killswitch and i played some namalsk yesterday. i forgot how fun and unforgiving, yet forgiving that map is. namalsk giveth and it taketh away.

Still having more fun in 'malsk than I did playing 1.7.7.1 today. I will bear with this patch a little while i suppose, but I just dont get a kick out of still having to prone in to a town and be the zombies bitch.

The Loot - More fun, interesting guns that i havent used before, and while ammo isn't massively abundant, you can find a nice weapon with relative ease. Food and Drink are harder to find, this means you are still playing a Survival game.
Zombies - They can still fuck you over, but not unreasonably. They punish you for your mistakes but you can lose the in trees and they dont agro like no tomorrow.
EVR - Forces everyone in the server to get in to a building. This can completely turn the tides in PvP when both sides suddenly realise there is only one place they can go.
Static Crashsites/Mountain Barracks/Weather/Warm Clothes/1 hospital etc - Is what makes this map unique imo. If you want to survive you HAVE to go to these areas. This draws players closer together and creates a more chaotic, fighting for your life situation.

Why am I still going on about this?
I honestly feel like way over half our player base craves PvP, and this map delivers it in a great way and I want everyone to try it because I think they would like it.

Main server has been downgraded temporarily to 1.7.6.1 database has been restored to pre-restart times

Got a question for sea: since you downgraded the server to 1.7.6.1 , if we expand our build now, will you implement it in 1.7.7.1(when the time has come) like it was before 1.7.7 or will you take the database from now ,meaning that new additions will be taken into account?

basebuilding in itself is one of the main reasons the server is so fun (at least for me). it provides security (not total, but almost) and is super interesting. as for restoring the old bases i'd say its a quite problematic topic. on the one hand ,sure, dont let the old bases reappear, on the other hand its months of "work" wasted for the big clans(you can probably relate). Also it would be problematic to rebuild nice and big bases with the scarse loot there is now, would have to tune down the ingredients needed IMO.

I wont go back to 1.7.6.
So until this server is at 1.7.7.1, I have no other choice but to play elsewhere.
Dissapointed that 1.7.7.1 was on for all of half a day, but appreciate this is what most people wanted.

Its nothing to do with the poll the poll was always with regards to a second sever.

1.7.7.1 broke the whole server last night and it was easier to roll back to 1.7.6.1 for a day or two till reality is stable.

Same here, probably gonna stop playing for a while. Since now our shit is resetted again and we are back to the older version-_-. Gonna wait till this shit is all fixed, getting sick of it now.

I just tested login on the 7.7.1 server, and I got blackscreen. I let it wait for around 5 minutes, to see if it was some sort of delay, but still blackscreen appearing.
