Someone was asking in game about base building. I found a useful guide, so thought I'd post it here in case it was helpful to anyone else.

Thanks man, I've not had time to write a guide still, I'll steal the pictures from that one and try and put one together tonight.

Few things to remember

- Infopanels are currently broken in the version of the Basebuilding code we are running
- Object removal via the 8 digit codes is not working reliably
- Make sure you have an empty inventory before you remove it or you won't be refunded all the items
- If your squad each build a part of your base they will always be able to open that part
- Camo netting is buggy as hell, getting the option to remove it to pop up is hard, and they are never actually deleted from the database (pm me if you have a camo netting you want removing manually)
- The booby traps should be working currently I made some patches to update them a while back and forgot to post about it on the forum.
- The only way to legitimately enter a base is by using a toolbox, if you exploit a bug to enter a base expect to be banned.

You can enter bases with the little bird as well ;)

You can also enter bases by glitching through walls to "have a look"

gap is so large you could fit a whale through it, im pretty sure its large enough to vault through (hell if arma 2's collision boxes wern't so wierd you could walk thorough it), i didn't try but we did kill a uaz just to the left of the picture as punishment :D, it was just after this that we got ambushed and sharpy/coffmad got killed

No smelting, we disabled it because people were duping with it
