managed to see one of those heli's fly over and crash near us, it landed right next to another crash and was resting at exactly the same angle, and was the same heli. Two crashes in the same location maybe?

Well I think these fly around and only crash when a player is nearby. This may lead to multiple crashes in high-traffic areas. Whereabouts is this?

No they fly to a random spawn point every 35 minutes and crash there (unless someone shoots them down first)

The old crash sites spawned out of nowhere every 35 minutes, basically its the same thing except it flies there :D

I checked the code they are getting a random position for sure Deathdude so that may have just been good luck on your part.... There is an updated version of the script I'm going to put on later though.

You may notice the Russian choppers dont spawn zombies yet, I think they make a nice change from the Huey though so have left them in

I sat through around 25 spawning in recently to check loot tables and I quite like the current balance sniper rifles are much rarer and theres a good range of assault rifles. Hopefully the next one you see plummet from the sky is more fruitful.

ive never seen a mk17 on this server unfortunatly, seen a couple of mk16's though.

I was telling you a few months back how awesome the mk12 was seaweed :D we just found another one today, our group has two now.
On another note sharpy lost his 128 days alive character today to a randomer called rain... may he rest in peace, and may rain burn in the fires of a bi-plane crashing on his head

Trying to keep them as rare as possible which has been working well, there are definitely some in circulation atm. It's a fucking beast damage wise at least 8k with the SCAR mags.

Speaking of which, could you maybe replace the M107 mags with SCAR mags on the loot table? Just a thought.

onthe same note, is it possible to get FN FAL mags in the loot table somewhere? cant find that shit anywhere.

I think they only spawn in vehicles...UAZ's mainly. Found 5 in a fresh-spawned UAZ a couple of times.

Got 1 question about the helicopters, you say there are only litle birds spawned on the server?

Ive already seen 2 hueys in the air, ore are those the helis that will crash and turn in to lootable crash sites?

Yes those are the AI controlled animated crash sites try shooting one down or following it till it crashes. I believe there is already a message that comes up regularly on the server telling you this.



The MH6J is the only helicopter we spawn that players can fly.

Whitelister was trippin from about 3am last night until 8am this morning, the issue should have only affected players who weren't yet whitelisted. I have sorted the problem out now and automated whitelisting is working again for IP addresses which match.

I changed the numbers of some of the vehicles spawning yesterday, updated the OP and posted in the server chat about it last night but forgot to bump the thread so you would all see it.
