Post subject:  st. pattys day >.<
So in order to celebrate st. Patrick's day, the grocery store I work at decided to play Celtic music! All day... The same 3 songs...... For 8 hours..... Please shoot me now D:


On a lighter note, is this a holiday celebrated around the world? Or is this another silly American sham to get us all to spend money on green things and alcohol?

Coming from Northern Ireland i can honestly say that most of the Americans i know celebrate it more than we do.
Until recently very few people even got the day off although that has changed noticeably over the past two or three years..
The south of the country would celebrate more i guess.
Being from Ireland we need very little excuse to tie one on and get pissed! :D
